PhD candidate Workpackage 4
About me
I was born in China and then moved to the US for my studies. My journey in the Netherlands begun when I pursued a master’s degree in Global Business & Sustainability at Rotterdam School of Management. For my thesis, I investigated what sustainability looks like in a clinical microbiology laboratory setting at LUMC. The experience ignited my interest and passion in sustainable healthcare.
What do I do?
I am a PhD candidate based at Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management. As a member of work package 4, I have been conducting research at Erasmus Medical Center, specifically the procurement department. My goal is to design and validate sustainable/circular purchasing strategies that stimulate medical suppliers to produce with the environment in mind. Outside of my research, I enjoy cycling, rock climbing, and being in nature.
