Contribute to more sustainable healthcare!

Did you know that the healthcare sector in the Netherlands is responsible for 13% of resource consumption, 7-8% of CO2 emissions and 4% of waste? Incredible, but true: the proportion of CO2 emissions from hospitals is comparable to emissions from the airline industry! This is something that not many people realize!

We need your help to realize our plans! We want to change this with our project “Hoe groen ben jij? – De Groene Patiënt”. Together with patients and visitors, we want to see how we can collectively contribute to reducing the footprint of the healthcare sector. Two things we will realize anyway as part of this project is a sustainable, green sign-in desk and a water tap from Dopper!

Voting works as follows:

• Go to the voting page on the VOOR website (https://voor.nl/voorbeeld-projecten/2024) or click on the button below.
• You enter your 06-number* in the field provided
• You receive a text message on your phone with a unique voting code
• Enter this code on the voting page
• Then you are logged in and can give the project “Hoe groen ben jij?” 10 points! 🙂
• After giving your points you confirm them and you are done.

*The 06 numbers are temporarily stored during the voting round (to prevent double voting) and then deleted immediately afterwards. To prevent voting fraud, only Dutch 06 numbers can be used to vote.
