On February 25, 2025, ESCH-R’s project board member and Workpackage 5 leader Prof. dr. Jan Carel Diehl, together with PhD Jasper Klasen, Postdoc Ayşegül Özçelik and Ir. Jotte de Koning attended the DesHealth meeting ‘Prerequisite for Achieving Resilience in the Healthcare Systems’ in Barcelona.

The ESCH-R team attended to work on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC’s). Prof. dr. Jan Carel Diehl presented ‘Circular Design Strategies for the Healthcare Sector’. And ESCH-R PhD Jasper Klasen presented ‘Practical problems of Sustainable Hospitals: a medication perspective’.

During the meeting the participants explored sustainability, education, and innovation through expert discussions, case studies, and circular economy strategies.
