Last week, three representatives of ESCH-R – Nicole Hunfeld, JC Diehl and Erik van Raaij – travelled to London to take part in the Decarbonising Healthcare Event. The meeting, organised by Hugh Montgomery and hosted at the inspiring Aga Khan Centre, brought together international frontrunners in sustainable healthcare.
Although modest in size, one participant described it as “the Champions League of green healthcare” – a gathering of leaders shaping the future of climate-friendly healthcare.On behalf of ESCH-R, Nicole Hunfeld gave a presentation highlighting our joint commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of healthcare. The focus of the event was not only on sharing knowledge, but also on strategising for radical impact: how we can accelerate the transition towards circular, sustainable healthcare systems worldwide.
