DesHealth in Italy

In May, Jotte de Koning, Jasper Klasen, and Jan-Carel Diehl attended the DesHealth project conference, “Futures of Sustainable Healthcare,” in Turin, Italy.
Jan-Carel Diehl and Jotte de Koning from TU Delft presented on Circular Design Strategies for the Healthcare Sector, while Jasper Klasen, our Esch-R PhD candidate from Erasmus MC, discussed Practical Problems of Sustainable Hospitals and potential solutions. Their presentations also highlighted the Esch-R project.

DESHEALTH is an EU Erasmus project with Erasmus MC and TU Delft as key partners. During a workshop at the conference, the team developed the next cutting-edge DesHealth training program, which aims to promote sustainable design and management in the healthcare sector. They reviewed best practices, explored new methodologies, and selected innovative to ols to ensure the training is comprehensive and engaging. This effort will also contribute to the educational material development for Esch-R WP 6.
