Dr. M.P. (Pilar) Garcia Gomez will be appointed as professor of Applied Economics, with a focus on Health and Labour, at Erasmus School of Economics, on Friday, 31 May 2024.
The title of the inaugural lecture is: Health and Socioeconomic Status – An Intimate and Enduring Relationship
The ceremony will start promptly at 16:00 hrs in the Aula of the university (Erasmus building), Burgemeester Oudlaan 50 Rotterdam.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Jan-Carel Diehl will hold his inaugural speech on Design for Inclusive Sustainable Healthcare.
The ceremony will start at 15:00 hrs in the Aula of the TU Delft. How to attend is to be announced!
Prof. dr. ir. Jan-Carel Diehl is a project board-member of the ESCH-R project. He is also the workpackage leader for WP 5 “What we create: Co-creation with stakeholders in Living Labs in Medical Centers”.

ESCH-R Annual Scientific Meeting

Also called consortium meeting. This is organized by the early and mid-career researchers and the project board. During this day, the consortium will be updated, knowledge will be shared, and the researchers can show and discuss their data and findings. The consortium meeting is open to all consortium partners. During this day, the PAC will also have its meeting.

Inaugural lecture Prof. dr. ir Erik van Raaij

Since January 1 of this year, Erik van Raaij has taken on a new chair, “Sustainable Procurement in Healthcare.” Therefore, he will hold his inaugural speech on June 4, 2025.
The ceremony will start at 4 PM in the Auditorium of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Further details will be shared later.
